Stanthorpe Little Theatre invites you to join as either ( or both!) one of their members or a volunteer. While you don’t need to be a financial member to volunteer your time, we would hope you do join us as it helps in so many ways.
We operate our volunteers through a facebook group, where opportunities to assist in set building, backstage, front of house, lighting, sound, props and costumes are posted and managed. Follow THIS LINK to be take to the group so you can join.
It is hoped that by offering a variety of membership options and events, that these suit the wide scope of interests within our community.
Your support through membership is important to the Little Theatre, not only financially, but the demographics and numbers are used to support our grant applications. The grants we are applying for at the moment are focused on the much needed renovations and refurbishment of the theatre, in particular the foyer, bar and kitchen areas, but also to maintain safety standards within the theatre.
Membership Privileges – Each Little Theatre Member is entitled to:
- 1 free ticket to each dress rehearsal/ preview night of each Little Theatre production ( we have 3 planned annually)
- Concession rates to all theatre productions
- 1 free ticket to each movie matinee screened (at least 2 PG rated films – minimum of 3 films during the year)
- A free ticket to our monthly Open Mike Nights (10 planned)
- Free entry to our Karaoke and Dance Club ( 10 planned)
- Invitation to planning evening for the next season (around Sept each year)
- Concession rates for our workshops and classes ( up to half price on some)
- Voting rights at the AGM
- Voting rights to choose films, events and theatrical performances for the coming year.
- Discounted rates to hire the theatre
We have 25 events scheduled for the season – making it around $2 per event per person as a member ( pretty good price for entertainment!)
Full year Memberships are valid from 1st of March 2024 to 1st March 2025.
Half Yearly Memberships are valid from 1st October 2024 to 1 March 2025.
Members will be issued a membership card to be used to gain entrance and receive various discounts or extra offers announced over the year. These will be kept at the theatre at the box office in a special box. If you would like yours to keep on you – just ask.
On offer are memberships for single people, those with families, larger groups or clubs and those who either wish to support the theatre in a larger way or to attend as many of its productions as they can.
We also have a special Youth Theatre Membership ( $50)

Single person/ Youth – $50 – includes all of the membership privileges ( Half Year $25)
Family – $125 – includes all of the membership privileges for up to six members ( Half Year $60)
Group – $475 – includes all of the membership privileges for up to fifteen members. ( Half Year $230)

We have a vibrant and enthusiastic group who are passionate about fostering the creative arts on the Granite Belt. New Committee Members and ideas are always welcome.
Our AGM is normally held in October, alongside our planning evening to timetable and discuss new events and activities for the coming year.
