Committee

Our committee may be small, but we are a dedicated and enthusiastic group with a shared passion for supporting, promoting, and nurturing the performing arts within our community. We are committed to keeping the theatre relevant and accessible, and we actively welcome fresh ideas and new committee members to join us in our mission.

All financial members of the Stanthorpe Little Theatre are invited to attend committee meetings and are encouraged to participate in voting on agenda items.

We meet monthly to discuss upcoming performances, workshops, shows, and events, as well as to plan fundraising initiatives and organise working bees for props, sets, and costumes for specific productions.

President: Annie Mitchell

Annie Mitchell has been the backbone of Stanthorpe Little Theatre for many years, serving tirelessly as Secretary and keeping the heart of our theatre beating with her dedication, organisation, and unwavering commitment. Her hard work behind the scenes has ensured smooth operations, supported countless productions, and helped sustain the welcoming community spirit our theatre is known for.
Now stepping into the role of President, Annie brings with her a wealth of experience, deep institutional knowledge, and a genuine passion for local theatre. In her new position, Annie will lead our committee, guide the theatre’s strategic direction, support the creative teams behind each production, and strengthen our connections with the wider community.

Vice President: Elise O’Brien

Elise O’Brien is a passionate and dedicated leader whose enthusiasm and experience continue to enrich Stanthorpe Little Theatre. After serving with distinction as President, Elise now steps into the role of Vice President, where she remains a driving force behind the theatre’s creative spirit and community focus.With a deep love for the performing arts and a commitment to nurturing local talent, Elise works closely with the committee and production teams to support artistic projects, strengthen community engagement, and help guide the theatre’s ongoing growth. Her vision, energy, and collaborative approach continue to inspire those around her and play an essential role in shaping the vibrant future of Stanthorpe Little Theatre.

Secretary: Amanda Drake

Amanda Drake is the dedicated secretary of our theater, known for her exceptional organisational skills and warm personality. She ensures the smooth operation of our monthly meetings, managing communications, and providing invaluable support to our team. Her friendly demeanour and attention to detail make her an essential member of our theater family.

Treasurer: Morwenna Harslett

Morwenna Harslett is our theatre’s meticulous treasurer, bringing exceptional financial acumen and dedication to her role. With a sharp eye for detail and a strategic mindset, she oversees budgeting, manages accounts, and ensures the theatre’s financial health remains strong. Morwenna’s professionalism and passion for the arts make her an integral part of our team, helping to support the creative vision of the theatre while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Her reliability and expertise are vital to our success.

Publicity Officer: Grace Shey

Grace Shey is our theatre’s dynamic Publicity Officer, expertly crafting engaging content to captivate and grow our audience. With a flair for creativity and a deep understanding of digital platforms, she manages our social media presence, sharing compelling stories and updates that bring the magic of theatre to life. Grace also oversees the creation of our monthly newsletter, ensuring our supporters stay informed and inspired. Her passion for communication and the arts makes her an invaluable asset, connecting our theatre with the community in meaningful and innovative ways.

Technical Production Manager: Romana Power

Romana Power steps into the role of Technical Production Manager with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a growing passion for the technical side of theatre. New to the position, Romana is currently learning the ropes from our former tech manager, Karlis, whose expertise and guidance are helping them build a strong foundation in lighting, sound, and backstage operations. With a keen eye for detail and a willingness to tackle new challenges, Romana is quickly developing the skills needed to support our productions behind the scenes. They approach each show with dedication and a commitment to ensuring performances run smoothly and safely. As they continue to grow into the role, Romana brings fresh energy and a collaborative spirit to the tech team, and we are excited to see them develop into an integral part of our theatre’s future.

Front of House Manager: Emily Thomas

Emily Thomas joins Stanthorpe Little Theatre as our new Front of House Manager for 2026, bringing with her a strong background in customer service and a warm, welcoming approach that sets the tone for each performance. With experience building connections across the community (including local wine producers) Emily is perfectly positioned to enhance the theatre’s hospitality and audience experience.
Her professionalism, attention to detail and genuine care for patrons ensure that every visitor feels supported from the moment they step through the door. Whether coordinating volunteers, managing the bar or creating an inviting atmosphere for audiences, Emily’s leadership helps make our theatre a comfortable and memorable place to be.

Theatre Bookings Manager: Danni Thompson

Danni Thompson joins our 2026 committee as the new Bookings Manager, bringing organisation, reliability, and a friendly, professional approach to one of the theatre’s most important roles. As the primary point of contact for all venue hire enquiries, Danni manages schedules, coordinates with community groups, and ensures each booking runs smoothly from initial enquiry to final handover. With strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting local creatives and organisations, Danni helps keep our theatre accessible, well-organised, and responsive to the needs of our community. Her attention to detail and problem-solving abilities make her a valuable addition to the Stanthorpe Little Theatre team.We’re delighted to have Danni overseeing our bookings in 2026 and look forward to the positive relationships she will continue to build.

Fundraising & Grants Co-ordinator: Tess Dellagiacoma

Tess Dellagiacoma brings enthusiasm, creativity and strategic thinking to her role as Fundraising and Grants Coordinator at Stanthorpe Little Theatre. With a strong commitment to supporting the long-term growth of our theatre, Tess works to secure vital funding through grant applications, sponsorships and innovative fundraising initiatives. Her ability to connect with community partners, identify opportunities, and communicate the value of the arts ensures our theatre continues to thrive and deliver high-quality productions. Tess’s dedication helps strengthen the financial foundations of the theatre and opens doors for future projects, upgrades, and community programs.

Membership Co-ordinator: Jim Allen

Jim Allen steps into a new role as Membership Coordinator in 2026, bringing warmth, organisation, and a genuine passion for community engagement. In this role, Jim manages member enquiries, renewals and communications, ensuring that everyone who joins Stanthorpe Little Theatre feels welcomed and connected. With a friendly approach and a keen eye for detail, Jim helps streamline our membership processes and supports the growth of our vibrant theatre community. His work strengthens the bond between the theatre and its supporters, making it easier for members to stay informed, involved, and part of the creative life of the organisation.

Cynthia Collins continues her valued service at Stanthorpe Little Theatre as a dedicated committee member, following a year as our hardworking Secretary. Her knowledge of the theatre, organisational skills and commitment have made her an essential part of our operations and decision-making. Cynthia brings thoughtfulness, reliability and a collaborative spirit to every meeting and project. Her experience in committee coordination and minute taking provides a strong foundation for the team, while her supportive nature helps foster a positive and productive environment.
